The magic of folklore and the spirit of contemporary art can not only be united, but also exist in perfect symbiosis. The place where this has been happening for 6 years in a row is the Balkan Art Festival in Karnobat.

All editions from 2014 so far have impressed thousands of people with an exciting variety of genres, cultures and events.Participants from all over the Balkans take to the stage together, where the Balkan peoples prove their unity, and that in itself is a whole event. Over 600 dancers, singers and artists from Bulgaria, Macedonia, Romania, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina take part each year. The festival is not a clash between tradition and the modern world, but their unification around a common goal – art.

It is certain to be enchanted by the colorful palette of the program, with which you can easily touch the performances of Balkan artists and feel like craftsmen in authentic workshops. It is also designed for the little ones, who will find it difficult to resist the prepared entertainment.

With over 30,000 visitors in the last six years, the Karnobat festival has solidified its position as one of the largest in the Balkans, where generations also meet.The organizer of the event since its inception is the Municipality of Karnobat. The organizing team and the volunteers are the reason why every summer the magic of art fills the air in Karnobat with the magical festival energy.
